What I collect

The only personal information I collect directly is what you send through the contact form: your name, email address, business name, current website URL, project type, and message. I also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. It records anonymous, aggregate usage data (pages viewed, approximate city-level location, device and browser type, and how visitors arrive), but nothing that personally identifies you. How I use it

Form submissions are delivered to my inbox (hello@capitalcitycomputing.us) via Resend and Cloudflare Workers. I use what you send solely to answer you and, if you become a client, to deliver the work you asked for. You are not added to a marketing list, and your information is not shared with anyone.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are delivered to my email inbox, and a copy is kept in private cloud storage (Cloudflare R2) for 90 days as a delivery backstop, so that if email ever fails your message is not lost. After 90 days the stored copy is deleted automatically. These records include the form fields you submitted plus the IP address and browser information that came with the request, and they are never shared, sold, or used for anything except answering you.

Cookies

I use a small number of first-party cookies, and none of them are for advertising. Google Analytics sets _ga and _ga_* cookies to tell returning visitors apart and measure sessions; they are not shared with advertisers and do not follow you to other sites. Separately, Cloudflare (the hosting provider) may set a __cf_bm cookie for bot management; it is a functional cookie that does not track you across sites and expires within 30 minutes of inactivity.

There are no advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies here. The analytics cookies are only set if you switch Analytics on yourself, in the cookie settings, which open from the cookie button in the bottom corner of any page or from the Cookies link in the footer. Leave it off and none are written: Google Analytics is not loaded at all, so nothing is requested from Google and nothing about your visit reaches it. You can switch it back off at any time, which also deletes the cookies it set, or block cookies for this site, or install Google’s opt-out browser add-on. The bot-protection cookie described above is set by Cloudflare before the page loads and is not covered by that switch. The site works exactly the same either way.

Third-party services

• Hosting. Cloudflare Pages serves the site and may set a bot-management cookie.
• Forms. Cloudflare Workers and Resend process and deliver form submissions.
• Bot check. Cloudflare Turnstile guards the contact form against automated submissions.
• Fonts. Self-hosted, served from this domain, so no third-party font request is ever made.
• Analytics. Google Analytics 4 for aggregate traffic measurement, loaded only once you accept. It sets first-party cookies and does not store your IP address.
• Logs. Cloudflare R2 holds server logs for operational and security purposes, retained for 90 days.

Apart from Google Analytics, described above, there is no Facebook Pixel, no retargeting script, and no other advertising or cross-site tracking tool on this site. Your data is never sold.

Your rights

You can ask me to delete any personal information I hold about you at any time. Email hello@capitalcitycomputing.us and it is handled within 24 hours. If you are a California resident you have additional rights under the CCPA, and the same email works for those requests.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. I will not start collecting more data, or sharing it, without saying so first.
